This Refund Policy explains how trials, automatic renewals, cancellations, refunds, credits, and billing disputes work for maketheresume.co ("maketheresume.co," "we," "us," or "our").

maketheresume.co is a digital subscription software service. Because the Service provides access to online resume-building tools, AI-assisted writing features, templates, export tools, and digital document workflows, fees are generally non-refundable except as expressly stated in this policy or required by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer, digital services, subscription, or payment laws.

1. 7-Day Free Trial and Automatic Conversion

Eligible paid plans may include a 7-day free trial.

If a payment method is required or provided when you start a trial, your trial will automatically convert to the selected paid plan at the end of the 7-day trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

By starting a card-required trial, you authorize maketheresume.co and its payment processors to charge the applicable subscription fee, taxes, and recurring renewal charges for the selected plan when the trial ends and on each renewal date until you cancel.

We will disclose the trial length, selected plan, price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method at or before subscription checkout.

2. Renewal Notices

We may send renewal notices, trial-ending reminders, receipts, billing communications, and cancellation confirmations to the email address associated with your account or billing profile.

You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate and monitoring billing communications.

Failure to read a valid reminder or receipt does not by itself invalidate an otherwise lawful charge, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

3. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

Monthly plans renew each month. Annual plans renew each year. Other billing cycles renew according to the plan selected at checkout.

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Except as stated in Section 5 or required by law, we do not provide refunds for:

● Trial conversions after the 7-day trial ends.

● Monthly or annual renewal charges.

● Unused time in a billing period.

● Failure to cancel before the trial end date or renewal date.

● Not reading or missing reminder emails.

● Change of mind, no longer needing the Service, or dissatisfaction with job outcomes.

● User formatting choices, resume performance, applicant tracking system outcomes, recruiter response rates, or hiring outcomes.

● Add-ons, premium templates, credits, usage-based features, onboarding, professional services, or one-time fees where applicable.

● Accounts suspended or terminated for fraud, abuse, policy violations, non-payment, or unlawful use.

Because maketheresume.co is a digital software service, access to paid functionality may begin immediately after trial conversion or purchase. This affects refund availability where permitted by law.

7. Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions can be canceled before the next renewal date.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current monthly charge unless the charge qualifies under Section 5 or applicable law.

8. Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions can be canceled before the next annual renewal date.

Cancellation stops future annual renewals but does not refund unused time in the current annual term unless the charge qualifies under Section 5 or applicable law.

9. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Plan Changes

Upgrades may take effect immediately and may result in prorated charges.

Downgrades usually take effect at the end of the current billing period unless we state otherwise.

Unused seats, exports, template access, credits, or partially used plan periods do not automatically create refunds, credits, or rollovers.

10. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges
